Q28. Does the system generate the latitude and longitude coordinates?

Yes, the system will convert a valid physical address to latitude and longitude coordinates via geocoding when you select the "Lookup Lat/Long" function. Furthermore, the system will check on every coordinate that is manually entered by you.
a) Check if a coordinate is in decimal degrees
b) Check if a latitude coordinate is within the range of 0 to 80
c) Check if a longitude coordinate is within the range of -180 to -50 (except GU; Shemya, AK; Shemya Island, AK; Simiya, AK; and Simiya Island, AK)

Note: If you upload your Tier II report via a Tier2 or CAMEO zip file, you must verify that the facility's physical address is correct (e.g., street address, city, county, state and country names). Moreover, you must report the facility's latitude and longitude data or use the "Lookup Lat/Long" function to generate it.
